Shiv Prasad Singh

Shiv is Director and part of senior management team. He has been a leading real estate professional and served as consultant, transaction advisor and private equity investor through his previous employments. As a consultant, he has successfully executed over 100 assignments including feasibility studies, repositioning studies, district centre restructuring, infrastructure planning (e.g. SEZ, Airport city side development), location consulting, strategic advisory and valuations across the asset classes. As Head – Research & Consulting (North India), Chesterton Meghraj, he was responsible for business development and operations of his group as profit centre.

Shiv was among the early real estate professionals who moved to real estate private equity in 2005. During his two year stint at ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited as Assistant Vice President, he was part of investment team as sector specialist and focused on south Indian markets. He worked closely with Tishman Speyer – ICICI Venture JV, while team concluded its first investment at Hyderabad.

In Nov 2006, Shiv joined SARE Group, a $US430 million real estate private equity fund which focuses on real estate township development across the country. He played a crucial role in its growth in India as Head – Business Development through new relationships and identifying investment opportunities across India. He was instrumental in closing six deals out of which four are SARE portfolio companies. As private equity investor he has concluded deals worth equity capital $US 250 million and projected revenues worth $US 1500 million.

Shiv enjoys understanding of over thirty real estate markets across the asset classes and specializes in suburban residential township investments and project formulation. He is a registered member with Council of Architecture, India. He is a graduate in Architecture from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal and post graduate in Planning (Housing) from School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi. He is also a visiting faculty at School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
